1. INVENTORY

We inventory every helmet that comes in the door so that any attachments (facemask, liners, etc.) are returned to their original helmet after the reconditioning process.

2. TEST

Helmets are tested using NOCSAE approved drop test equipment designed by the Southern Impact Research Center, with results recorded.

3. REMOVE HARDWARE

All hardware is removed. Liners and pads are removed and inspected. If suitable for re-use, liners and pads are sent to be cleaned and sanitized. If any internal parts are damaged, we contact the customer for authorization to replace with new parts.

4. INSPECT

Helmets are individually inspected for cracks and defects. Any helmets with defects found will automatically be removed from the process and customer will be contacted.

5. SAND

Helmets that pass inspection are sanded for smooth finish.

6. WASH

Helmets are washed and scrubbed, inside and out with a disinfectant. Helmets and liners are placed in the Sani Sport to be sanitized.

7. SPRAY-COAT

Helmets are spray-coated twice with the color of your choice to ensure smooth and clean finish.

8. DRY

Helmets will be in our drying room for a minimum of 48 hours to allow paint time to cure. Helmets will be buffed and shined.

9. REINSTALL HARDWARE

New hardware and internal parts are reinstalled and facemasks are reattached.

10. RETEST

Helmets are retested using NOCSAE approved drop test equipment designed by the Southern Impact Research Center, with results recorded.

11. DELIVER

Helmets are packaged for pick-up or delivery based upon customer preference.
